How to make the perfect cup of tea?

• Steer clear of plastic, disposable mugs and use a porcelain cup
• Only use freshly drawn water for the kettle
• Once water is boiled, wait 5 seconds before pouring into cup or warmed teapot
• Brewing time between 3 to 5 minutes for optimum balance of flavour and strength
• Add 5 percent of semi-skimmed milk to the cup before adding tea
• Wait for 6 minutes for the temperature to drop to 60°C before drinking
